Trips

Our school regularly go on trips to enhance learning outside of the classroom to help add purpose, depth and quality to what they are studying in their curriculum. Trips are also organised to help children develop their critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, reflection, independence and resilience - the six elements of learning skills as outlined in the Bailiwick of Guernsey Curriculum.

Take a look at some of the trips our children have been on recently.

Infants: Beach Trip (July 2024)

Each year, the Infants go on a beach trip for the day to Cobo where they can take part in various activities such as rock pooling scavenger hunts, beach art, rounders and a sandcastle competition.

Year 2: Sailing (June 2024)

Our Year 2's get the opportunity to develop their sailing skills each year at the Model Yacht Pond with support from members of the Sailing Trust.

Arts for Guernsey do lots of work with schools across the Bailiwick of Guernsey and our Year 3s got the opportunity to develop their arts skills with them at Candie Gardens.

Year 6: German Occupation Museum (November 2023)

As part of their World War 2 history lessons, Year 6 visited the German Occupation Museum to learn more about the impact that the war had on the Channel Islands.

Year 6: De Putron Challenge (March 2024)
