At St Mary and St Michael Catholic Primary school we deliver the NSPCC Speak Out Stay Safe Program in KS1 and KS2 with the option of it also being delivered in Early Years with parent approval. The Speak Out Stay Safe program is a safeguarding initiative which educates children about abuse, empowers them to recognize signs of abuse, and teaches them how to seek help from trusted adults or Childline if they are worried or feel unsafe.

Focus on prevention:
The campaign aims to prevent child sexual abuse by empowering children to understand their rights to safety and to recognize potential risks.
Age-appropriate language:
It emphasizes using simple and non-scary language, avoiding any mention of sex or abuse, to make the conversation comfortable for children.
Key messages:
The PANTS acronym provides clear and memorable messages for children:
There is also a very catchy song that the children love and are always keen to share with their grown ups at home too.
